about
monochromatic Game Boy tells the story of a really black and white time of my life when I had fallen onto a constant loop where I didn't feel in a position to speak up about what I wanted to do within a relationship in fear of breaking it because I was aware that it would, this is the second song of my upcoming EP 199 and it's a realization of what's actually going on and that I am not happy and am feeling unrequited, I start by standing my ground telling this person to come and fix the chaos that they caused in me and asking them to stop playing with me only to fall back again, at the end of the song, into the same emotionally and town skipping repetitive lifestyle, that caters to that person's wishes
lyrics
Entice (crawl up and pull up in 5)
Became vice, you visioning me go around,
skipping town and bedding down for you but I
Thought twice and I might hit strike
cause who decides what's right is you
Gamble my mind, round 3 fighting and then we high and say
"nothing wrong" but I'm always wrong with it (with you)
We're playing God updating empty hands
(It's not fair when you're hard to read)
Don't play more games
Remoted planes are taking me away
and they are all yours
(Chorus)
Come fix what you're doing baby
Acting like you don't know who you're brewing lately
Be by my door around 11
and maybe come in all fours,
come in dirty knees,
come paint this shit in grey or monochrome
just don't die young on me
